First Trimester Screening
Got to hear baby’s heartbeat for the first time today at 12 weeks, 5 days. Li’l heart was beating at a steady 176 beats per minute ♥♡♥ ♥♡♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥

Baby’s first photo at 10 weeks, 2 days

First pre-natal checkup with the OB-GYN today. We saw our baby on this little screen! It wasnt a fancy ultrasound. This one was mainly to look for the heartbeat and make sure the baby wasn’t in your tubes. Low detail and not so great quality aside, this photo makes me smile each time I look at it. The li’l one was moving around quite a bit and we saw the heart beating. When I looked over at G during the ultrasound, he was beaming. It made my heart swell.
I have a real ultrasound coming up soon (1st trimester screening), to date my pregnancy. But just seeing the li’l teeny person growing inside of me was amazing. Hope to hear the heartbeat next time. BTW, I should also note that today, I was entertained by the spectacle of my own blood filling up various colored test tubes. I counted 8. Fun eh.
Oh Hello Blog
I’m back– blogging once more as a way of processing it all. I need a place to record my thoughts and keep track of things. I wanna capture the important stuff so I wouldn’t forget. To look back and remember how it felt. So expect this la la land to be more like be be land.

A night on Broadway
Thanksgiving dinner. We don’t usually spend it at home but since we have T&E visiting us this year, I’ve put in some effort to prettify our table spread. I guess nesting during pregnancy isn’t an old wives’ tale after all?
Of course, we hit the outlets for some Black Friday shopping! Hard to imagine but this time next year will surely be a lot different for us. I cannot wait.
